The script

Here goes the script we agreed on.

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD

This is a story of Little Red Riding Hood.

This girl is Little Red Riding Hood.
This is her Mother.
The old lady in the house is her Grandma.
There are also a wolf and a woodcutter.

One day her mother says:
Little Red Riding Hood,
Your Grandma is very ill.
Go and take these things through
The forest to your dear Grandma.
Don't stop to talk to anyone.
Go straight there and come straight back!”

She sees some beautiful flowers.
She picks some for her Grandma.

A wolf comes by.

(I'm hungry.)

“Hello, Little Red Riding Hood! How are you?”

“I'm very well, thank you. How are you?”

“I'm hungry. Where are you going?”

“To see my Grandma on the other side of the forest.”

(I can eat this little girl and her grandma!)
Goodbye then.

“Goodbye.”

The wolf runs through the forest
And knocks at the door:

“Who's there?”

“Your grandchild, Little Red Riding Hood.
I'm bringing you some cake and a bottle of wine.”

“Come in, my dear.”

The wolf hurries in and eats Grandma up.
He puts on Grandma's nightdress and nightcap
And lies in Grandma's bed.

Little Red Riding Hood comes to her
Grandma's house and knocks on the door.

“Who's there?”

“Your grandchild, little Red Riding Hood.
I'm bringing you some cake and a bottle of wine.”

“Come in, my dear.”

Little Red Riding Hood hurries in
And then stops at Grandma's bed.

“Oh, Grandma, what big eyes you have got!”

“All the better to see you with.”

“Oh, Grandma, what big ears you have got!”

“All the better to hear you with.”

“Oh, Grandma, what big teeth you have got!”

“All the better to eat you with!”

The wolf jumps out of bed.
Off falls the nightdress,
Off falls the nightcap,
He eats Little Red Riding Hood up.

The wolf goes back to bed
And soon starts to snore loudly.
A woodcutter hears the snoring
And knows it's not Grandma.
He looks through the window
And sees the wolf sleeping in Grandma's bed.
He takes a knife and cuts the wolf's tummy
And out come Little Red Riding Hood and Grandma.
They are both very happy.
And Little Red Riding Hood says:

From now on I will always obey my mother.”

They quickly put big stones
Into the wolf's tummy and sew it up.
When the wolf wakes up, it's very thirsty.
It goes to the nearest river to drink some water,
But it falls in and drowns.
